Akiyoshi Kitaoka is a professor of the Dept. of Psychology, Ritsumeikan University, Kyoto, Japan. who made these amazing illusions which trick the eyes using involuntary eye movements just like heat devils. Stare at it for a few moments. move your eye thru the entire artwork. Must be seen in full view to appreciate.
